How It Works

Annual dues are $30, payable by credit card. Membership runs for one year from the date you join, and you’ll receive renewal reminders by email before your membership lapses.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to own a telescope?

Not at all. Many of our members started without one, and our public star parties are deliberately set up so that beginners can look through other members’ scopes and learn what to buy (and what not to buy) before spending a dollar. Members also have access to borrow one of our many club-owned telescopes.

How do I cancel or renew?

Visit your member account at any time to renew, cancel, or update your billing information. We’ll also email you before your membership expires.

Is the ASN a 501(c)(3)?

Yes! Donations to ASN tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
